I called multichoice to hold my services since I won't be having electricity for months due to substation that burned over a week ago. They were not even an inch synthetic or willing to assist they will still charge reconnecting fee when I come back. I paid for service I didn't use yet again to pay reconnection fee when electricity come back? You guys are *******s and very useless the only thing you after is our pockets

We have tried to contact you on *** and +***0) to no avail.
It is concerning and very sad that your area will not have electricity for some time, till the substation is fixed. Please note your services are scheduled for disconnection at the end of your billing. When you reconnect you will not be charged the reconnection fee.
Your DStv service is a month-to-month service. When you pay your subscription, the service for that month is therefore fixed.
In order to fully align with our billing rules, downgrades and suspensions can only happen once a month, on the day your next subscription payment is due.
In the past we allowed changes to your package, downgrade / disconnect at the client's request at any time of the month. This was concession on our part as our system couldn't facilitate it.
This is to now ensure that subscribers adhere to the month to month billing rules.
We've implemented a tool to schedule your downgrades as well as suspension/ temporary disconnection of services.
Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us send us an email at ***.
