Ripoff and absolute *******
DSTV is by far the biggest ripoff. We are forced to watch ******* we don’t want to watch by paying a huge amount for monthly subscriptions, only to get capped by one viewer at a time at almost 3 times the cost compared to similar international services. There is no option to watch the sport channels we want as subscribers and have no control over what is offered. This is a ******* monopoly of South African television and it is by far the worst and overpriced packages one can get. In a family of 4, we cannot let the kids or adults watch separate shows, because only one device can stream at a time. What ridiculous setup is this?

06 Sept 2022, 16:55This is a very generic reply from Multichoice as always. The reality is that you are too expensive period. Compared to international streaming services DSTv is almost 3 times more expensive with the premium package. You are penalising families with children and adults living together that cannot watch their separate channels at the same time. There are such easy ways to make this possible and to prevent ***** or password sharing. You can allow two devices per account. Devices get unique access codes and when this is changed it will be immediately flagged. Hundreds of software and streaming services have these options. It is a pity that you pride your service in providing "customers with the best in entertainment at affordable prices", yet you fail gloriously with trying.
