I'm trying to access DStv now on my Smart TV. I use my phone to capture the code from the TV, it asks me to log in, I do and it says it does not recognize my e-mail address which I know is correct. It happened before and is one of the the things that made me leave multichoice for online TV but came back after I heard ESPN is back and I can watch basketball matches again :-). Anyway, I call the call centre not once, twice or thrice but 4 times and on all those three times I'm calling when I get to the agent after listening to 2 mins of voice promps using my airtime the call just cuts off, great. 4th time success-ish, I ask the agent to take my number down and call me back if it cuts. After a back and forth she agrees to but tells me she can't call me back another department has to and insists on trying to solve the problem, bless her soul shame. We go through the process wherein she advises that she can login my profile fine on her side while I cant on mine and she insists that its my phones. The P30 and A31 that I use for everything in my life but online TV, wow. She insists that I go to the walk-in centre to sort the issue out as all is fine from her side...I tried both my phones mind you and both say "invalid e-mail address or mobile number". Before I threw my daughters' toys out the court I went and tried on my laptop. The laptop said my "login details are incorrect", since I am a patient man I tried again and it accepted the very same log in details. Happiness, now I can finally watch my money's worth online and in peace but guess what? Fat chance, now its telling me that "this device is registered to a different user. Please remove this device on the other account.".
If Multichoice ignores the above, then I'll be forced to leave again. As much as I needed B-Ball again, I can always stream it online same as everything else including TV.
