Reversing a reward
During May 2021 I was rewarded a months subscription for free after taking part in the spin/win promotion. This month I received my statement from MultiChoice and noticed that an amount of R1183.00 is outstanding. My normal payment is R644.00. I contacted the offices and spoke to Confidence. She informed me that the reward I had received in May had been reversed and that is the reason for the amount of R1183.00 on the statement. She could give no reason why this was reversed. My question is how is it fair to reward a customer a free months subscription and then reverse it a few months later. Obviously I am disappointed and am really thinking of cancelling my subscription.
