Repeats, Repeats, Repeats, Repeats, Repeats
My daughter is home sick and has had to sit through repeats on channel 303. Programs that were on this morning are being repeated again now at 12:00 and I expect they will be repeated again at 16:00. So not only do you repeat programs weekly, monthly and yearly, but daily as well. Is this seriously what I am paying over R850 a month for. I feel a little taken advantage of.

The main reason programmes are repeated is to give people a second or third chance to see something they might have missed. Or a second or third chance to record a show on their PVRs.The other reason is that there are only so many new movies and shows being made every year. A single channel broadcasting 24 hours a day needs 8 760 hours of content a year. There are only about 600 new movies made every year, giving just 1 200 hours of movies. However, there is a lot of new content available on a weekly basis ? channels such as M-Net, M-Net Edge and kykNET premiere new shows and movies every week. We encourage our subscribers to let us know of any content they feel is missing.
