Removing channals
Switching on the tv and some channels just not available anymore. How can DSTV just remove channels from my package, we signed a contract for a specific package, and all of a sudden some channels are not available any more, not replaced by another channel just not available anymore on my package. the response is get the whole premium package or be thankful for what we give you. i does not matter if you signed for a package some years ago. 78

Discovery Family will replace Discovery World (DStv channel 187) and will be on DStv channel 136.
Please note that this means that DStv Select customers will no longer receive Discovery World as we are only maintain the package as it was discontinued in April 2013. You may switch to DStv Family for the same value as the Select package.
In line with Discovery and DStv's portfolio strategy to offer the best in quality programming for their African audiences, Discovery Family - the brand new channel from Discovery Networks showcasing the best in fun, edutainment programming for the whole family - will launch on March 31st and will replace Discovery World (DStv channel 172).
