Refund not paid and what a lame excuse I got, bad service at its best

So I decided to cancel my Dstv subscription on the 18 March. I had a credit with DSTV, I got told what documents I had to send for the refund and that I had to wait 3 to 5 working days for the money to reflect in my account. Sent all the documents on the very same day. Monday 27 March nothing has reflected in my account I send a follow up email and get a response that an immediate release of the refund has been done and that it should reflect in my account after 3days. Today 30 March nothing has reflected in my account so I send another follow up email and then I get a phone call from a consultant telling me that the money wasn't released by the second person in the finance department, when I ask how that happened when I got a email on Monday saying that my refund was released, the stupid lame excuse was that it was released then the first approver approved payment but the second approver didn't. I asked how come as that means the follow up email response was blatantly a lie as nothing was released the consultant told me that the DSTV finance department deals with a lot of other things not only refunds and they are very busy. She has escalated the release and it will be released and I have to wait 3 days again after waiting along time as it is for the money to reflect in my bank account. I don't know which company doesn't have a busy department but to use such an excuse and not give me what is due but they are so quick to cut your subscription if you don't pay yet coming to refund you all of a sudden all their departments are so busy to release their clients refund.

What a flipping useless excuse and service I have received from DSTV. Pathetic
