Refund no reponse

My husband cancelled DSTV because of the appaling service. Being last black listed when in fact we had paid an annual fee in March 2016 until March 2017. In March 2017 I again went for this option to pay annually as I did not think it was possible that the same thing would happen again. What a joke. In May I received an SMS to say my account had beeen handed over for collection. I paid in March 2017 and amount of R8.4K which pays until March 2018. How is it at all possible that the account can be in arrears??? The collection agency called and after a very frustrating call, she said there was an amount of R307.50 for inflation. I just laughed, but had finally had enough. I contacted Multichoice to say I wanted my service cancelled last day 31 May, and they said they would refund an amount of R7.4K but that I should bring into Multichoice a bank statement with banking details. I took this to the Randburg branch on 29 May. I then sent a follow up email to ask when I would get this refund and received a phone call from Simangele Dubazane to say I would need to supply POP. I was thunderstruck? She said there was no dispute that they had received the payment, but for security reasons needed a POP. Why should there be any issue if the refund was paid back into my account. Not a third parrty?? I paid and asked that it be paid back to my account??? Anyway I asked her to email this request which she duly did and I sent her a proof of payment on the 6 June, asking when I will receive this refund - no response. I have sent another two request for her to provide this information - no response. The staff at Multichoice are so busy telling you what they think you are going ask and DO NOT ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST. THEY ALL NEED TO GO ON A COMMUNICATION COURSE. THEY ARE TRULY EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH.

I WOULD LIKE MY REFUND OR AT LEAST A DATE WHEN THIS WILL TAKE PLACE.

Dear Elna,

Again this is typical of Multichoice's, poor, poor service.

The documents you are requesting have already been supp**** to Multichoice. On 29 May when I went in to cancel my DSTV I handed a bank stamped statement to Vuyo Makhamgela as I had phoned beforehand to find out what documents will be needed for this refund. I then received a phone call on 30 May from Simangele Dubazane ask for POP, even though she acknowledge that the payment reflected on my account. I asked her to email her request through. She did send an email with this request. (Query No. ********** ). I responded on 31 May (attaching my Discovery Credit Card on which payment reflect on 4 March).

WHY ARE YOU NOW ASKING FOR THIS AGAIN. IS THIS JUST A STALLING MECHANISM OR IS JUST THE LEFT HAND DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT HAND IS DOING AT MULTICHOICE.
