Red tape hindering a sale

All I want to do is to take out a contract in my own name. I bought my explorer a number of years ago from Game. I bought it and it belongs to me. I always pay every year for the full year's subscription in advance. My late wife took the contract out in her name but has past away. That contract has expired. I now want to take out the contract in my own name and pay for the year in advance again. I do not want the administrative burden of having to submit a death certificate and transfer forms - the old contract is null and void as it has expired and it should simply be cancelled! The contact centre is insisting on a death certificate and a bunch of forms. If you insist I simply won't view and will continue watching Netflix. Please help.

You did not solve my complaint at all. Why would I want a price lock with an explorer when I already own an explorer and a HD PVR?
