Reconnecting an account without authorisation from account holder

It's not acceptable holding me liable to pay an amount outstanding on the account that DSTV reconnected without my approval or knowledge. I do not have possession of the decorder for the last 2 and a half years. This is DSTV's negligence and now they expect me to pay for their mistakes. I have been in connect with DSTV explaining that I did not authorize the reconnection and do not have the decorder but they still insist that I am liable to pay the account. They do not want to give me the call recording or the agents name who reconnected the services. When asking them for their legal department's phone number they give me the incorrect number.

THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
