R400+R100 just to be on compact (close to R1000)????

have been using Dstv for years now and when I downgraded from premium to compact we started being billed inconsistantly: 1) from premium to compact(R400) - we were told that MultiChoice charges extra for catch-up (I mean is you have an explorer and we are told that the only packages that accepts an explorer will be anything from access) if this is the case why do we have to pay an extra R100 to get catch-up as a service that is promised under access? 2) This is absurd - R400 + R100 = R500 just to have access you need to pay close to R1000, I don't understand this. 3) I mean with R500 you can pay for both Netflix and Showmax and you will still have money left from R500, I really fail to understand this also taking into consideration that there are so many streaming services.

can I please get help R500 to have compact is not reasonable, can MultiChoice please help with this otherwise I think it will be batter to just go to cancel and only stick to streaming services, I mean it's 2020.
