R1299 deal to good to be true

DSTV sold me a package of Explora, Wifi router, 4Mb ADSL through Mweb everything included for R1299.00.

First debit order R1618.36 was deducted + R189.00 Telkom line rental, totaling R1807.36, where I expected to pay R1299.00.

I have been trying to resolve this matter through numerous phone calls the last three weeks. I have been promised feedback, but nothing happened.

Today I received an automated e-mail stating that my case has been resolved, yet I did not speak to anyone. After yet another phone call to DSTV call centre this evening, I was promised by Rosett Khoza that the manager Zithulele Ngcobo will phone me within 5 mins. As expected, no one phoned me.

If I had the will power to dedicate another 30mins of my life to this irritating issue, I could have written a book, but I will keep it short:

- DSTV sold me a product at R1299, which ended up costing me R1 807.36.

- Their no-care attitude towards my complaint is unacceptable and probably a reflection top management's attitude towards their loyal clients.

- The call centre is ***********, and might as well not have existed, all they have done up to now is waste my airtime.

I am awaiting urgent feedback.

I received a call from Patricia Selebogo yesterday at 17h00, we discussed the issue and she said that she would phone me today at 08h00.

It is now 17:40 and I still did not receive any phone call as promised.

Yet again Multichoice failed to deliver the service they promise.
