Pvr keeps on reseting

I am convinced they doing this on purpose. They want me to train my pvr in on a new explorer. So they keep on resetting my device. Every half hour I am going to prove you doing this on purpose. When I do I will go public.

Good day Daniel

MultiChoice’s aim is to give you and other customers an evolving (and better) viewing experience. To this end, we regularly launch new channels and services, but these can be quite demanding on your hardware.

Your decoder will go through various life cycles, starting with when it’s new and fully capable, to when it’s nearing time for replacement. Some of our older model decoders have been classified as “end of support” since November 2014.

When SD PVR was first released, we only had a handful of channels on DStv – there are now over 100. The SD PVR has now reached the stage where it won’t be able to cope much longer with the growing number of services. For this reason, the decoder will experience missing channels, an incomplete TV guide or even freeze-ups and error messages.

Also, we’ve launched a new satellite at the beginning of 2017, which will position our channels on low and high band frequencies. Unfortunately, the SD PVR decoder can only get low band frequencies. This means that customers will lose out on any channels or services made available on high band.

Your decoder will stop working and can no longer be repaired. For this reason, we have different offers available depending on your interest. Kindly visit our website on www.dstv.com.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Kind regards

Dinah

Best regards,

DB

I have not received a reply. My decoder fixed itself after this complaint, however last night after a reset it's back as usual. This proves I am correct when I say how can the decoder fix itself and then breaks itself once you reset.
