Proor Services At MultiChoice

I always regarded multiChoice as one of the Companies with excellent customer services and value for money. Since i started with my 1st decoder, I never had any issues at all. until i took a decision to buy a DSTV Explora through pricelock.

firstly It took more than a week of being send back and forth trying to get the whereabouts of my delivery with little to no help at all. I had spend few hundred rands trying to get hold of the customer services agents, with more than 95% of those call terminated before the calls are concluded, and the requests for supervisor being declined by some agents. Eventually my decoders were delivered, and i thought it was the end of the nightmares i had with MultiChoice. little did I know that I was only just the beginning of the depressing journey with no solution yet.

I had to struggle to get the installer to install the decoders, yet I persevered. At last the installer came and advised me that they did not have the necessary equipment to install my decoders and had to wait another 4 days. Finally the Decoder was installed, but another problem began.

A s i am writing this review I had no viewing access for the past 3 days and still have no hope of getting any access. All I am getting is the dropped calls and apologies on my next calls followed by a dropped call again. The best thing the agents they do is to verify my details every call, apologize and drop the call. If this is the criteria for rating them, I give them 100%.

What also annoyed me the most is to be advised to send SMS to PriceLock (37408) with no call/ sms returned and the fact that the department that calls us for sales is not reachable for us to call. this is really terrible and uncalled for.

As a pay TV Services one would expect high value for our money, but what I am getting right now is far from high value and even more poor than my experience with SABC so far.

I suggest they take their decoders and cancel my contract with them, as I will not pay for ****.
