I have sent a sms for the price lock deal in March. In fact, I sent a couple of text message, I have even phoned and requested help, whereby the call centre indicated that I can’t reach the department, I have to wait for them to phone me. An agent phoned me in April and did the application. The application was not immediately approved, and was reverted. One day later I had 2 missed calls one minute apart. Later the day another agent phone me and wanted to do the application again, whereby I told her that I already app****. She then confirmed that it was actually approved, but that the initial agent will phone me again. After about 2 weeks, another agent phoned me and informed me that we need to conclude the deal. The deal according to him was R 949 per month (including installation) , whereby I said that I sent the sms in March already and made calls to DSTV, and in March the deal was R 899 (including installation). He looked on the system and said that he agrees, but now he needs to refer/escalate it to someone. My husband had a similar call and the agent also confirmed that we should get the R 899 deal including installation. The reference number for this call was DSTV call *** and the person that my husband spoke to was Bongiwi. I have made quite a number of similar calls, and the reply was always the same. You should get the March deal, but we will escalate it! On 21 April 2016 I received an sms that my payment plan has been approved and that the decoder will be dispatched in the next 2 or 3 days. On the same day, DSTV debited my account with R 99. I phoned them a couple of days later, enquiring what that was for? The operator indicated that it was the initial fee to dispatch the DSTV. I then explained that it had to be R 149, whereby she rep****, it is only R 99 because we choose the option without installation. Again, I indicated that it is not correct and I want the R 899 deal including installation. She said that she will escalate it. On 28 April 2016, the decoder was delivered, but without the smart LNB. On Friday I phoned again, and again I was told that they will escalate and get it approved with installation. From this day, I started paying for 2 x DSTV, because I still had my old decoder and monthly payment and the new payment plan. The new payment plan was not installed and nobody addressed my issue. We decided to do the installation ourself, bought our own smart LNB and phoned and requested that the cancel the installation, and that we are happy with the payment option of R 849 per month, excluding installation. On Wednesday 4 May 216 I phoned again, whereby I insisted to speak to a supervisor. I have spoken to Kagiso S****lekae, who promised that somebody will phone me before the end of the day to have this sorted. I had one call from DSTV, but I couldn’t answer it at the time. Nobody even bothered to phone again. On Monday 9 May I phoned again, again same story that they will escalate, again I insisted on speaking to a Supervisor, whereby they transferred my call to Prudence. She said that she can see that the matter was escalated, but need to follow up and that she will phone me within the next hour. That was yesterday approximately 12:30. Nobody has phoned me yet. I am so annoyed, because I have made at least 15 phone calls between 12 and 20 minutes, and it is still not resolved. I’m at the point that I want to cancel my 24 month contract and have DSTV collecting the DSTV Explora on their cost and at a time convenient to me! Because they didn’t keep to the contract!
