PRICE LOCK DECODER REGISTERED WITH SOMEONE ELSE

Hello Peter, On the 2nd of January I called multichoice because I was interested in the price lock option for their new DSTV Explora Ultra deal, I received a call back on Monday the 4th and I immediately signed up and was told that my decoder will be delivered within 5 business days and on Friday the 8th we received a call from the courier guy and upon receiving the decoder we called an installer only to find out that the decoder that we received is linked to someone else and is registered already and installation has been claimed. I made a couple of calls to the DSTV centre only to be told I need to do a transfer of ownership, which by the way is the ridiculous thing I've heard because in order for that to happen I would need to get the other persons ID and that does not make any sense that I have to go through all that hassle for something I did not do. I had to drive 29km to the DSTV centre in N1 city and they told me I would have to return the decoder to Joburg. That is just madness, I need DSTV to give me a new decoder and I give them the decoder that was delivered to me, I have nothing to do with who couriers back to Joburg they can do that as it has nothing to do with me that they sent me a decoder that is registered to someone else. I NEED A NEW DECODER, I am willing to drop the one I have at a nearest center and that centre must give a new decoder.
