Price lock- debit order billing issue

Its been a 4 year battle with multi choice. I took the price lock plan with a mandatory debit order payment. After 2 years, i wanted to cancel my subscription and was then only notified about debits not going off my account. They then subsequently didn’t get back to me after calling numerous times. Over the years they have attempted debiting R26000 from my account in one go. I am left with bank charges etc. I have no debit order mandate loaded and no correspondence in this regard. I am constantly placed on hold and apparently cannot be put theough to accounts as they only make outbound calls. Each consultant has a different story. I feel it is utterly unfair for me to pay for a error dstv had with their billing. I need someone to call me urgently. I also note i am not the only customer affected by this and require resolution. (Keeping fingers crossed for it to be resolved in 2021, considering i have the issue since 2017)

I still have not been communicated with. As month end approaches i fear again being debited wrongfully. The previous months debits and reversals caused havoc on my account when i have bank fees etc that i am liable to pay because of a issue Multichoice had on their billing system.

Perhaps the issue should be addressed with the ombudsman?

Sort this out please. Have someone in management call me.
