PRICE-LOCK - BEWARE!!!
I have been a loyal client of Multichoice for over 2 decades. I was contacted in March with an offer of a PriceLock and guarateed that if I accepted, I wouldn't be paying a cent more than I currently was. I accepted and after activation, I found that my Disney+ which I had previously was not active anymore. Upon reactivating with Dstv, I was informed that I would now have to pay the full R119 for when I was paying a discounted rate (R70 I think). I queried this as this was not my understanding and after numerous calls, escalations, etc. a manageress, Shazia, assured me that she has reinstated the discounted rate. Now a few weeks later, when I check, it has not been done. Whats worse, when I queried again yesterday, again an escalation, promised a callback from a manager which never happened and now my PVR functionality has been deactivated and they can't seem to reactivate. Things are going from bad to worse. I am on the verge of cancelling my DSTV as this is ridiculous. BEWARE OF THE PRICELOCK OFFER. THERE APPEARS TO BE HIDDEN COSTS EVEN THOUGH THEY ASSURE YOU THAT THERE ARE NOT (this can be confirmed as per recordings as I made sure multiple times before accepting). Still waiting for a resolution on the Disney+ and paying for PVR functionality that doesn't work anymore!!!

To make matters worse, my DSTV package has been re-loaded by DSTV and despite me signing the price-lock deal in March 2023, they have reloaded the package at R50 more under the new pricing applicable from May 2023. This just goes from bad to worse. My query has been escalated so many times that it is probably sitting in Space right now and despite my numerous subsequent requests for a manager to call me back and being promised a resolution.....NOTHING!!!!!!
