Poor viewing content on DSTV
The selection of movies really needs to be addressed. So many people are watching DSTV at home during the lockdown, so this service can really advertise itself now more effectively than ever. Instead we are stuck with THIRTY year old movies (Superman, 1980), endless repeats and poorly selected old movies. Please come into the 2015's and beyond. This weekend we were served a great selection of poor choices on every channel. Please can something be done???

20 Apr 2020, 15:25Hi Morné C, We understand that you find repeats frustrating. We’ve taken this issue of repeats to heart and we’ve pledged to do something about it. While we can’t do away with all repeats, we plan to cut down on the volume and introduce as much fresh content as possible. MultiChoice also engages in ongoing discussions with its channel suppliers in an attempt to reduce the repeats. There is also a limit on how much new content is produced every year. Please understand that the programmes on our international channels, are unfortunately not controlled by MultiChoice. They are direct feed that are sent from their satellite transmitters to our satellite station. We’re also going to help you find more shows you might like, but never knew existed (so please go to DStv.com for more information).
We have escalated the request for more movies to the relevant department for future consideration.
Kind regards
