Poor service & *********** staff
The service is poor and lacks customer experience together with *********** staff with a massive disconnect between their call center and walk in retail branches. I was so frustrated after being **********ly being mislead by DSTV MULTI CHOICE. I was said to have owed an amount of money from Spt 2015 but i remember that i was once told by DSTV that normally customers pay in advance. You pay upfront for the month ahead. So in Sept 2015 services stopped and i let it be. I contacted the call center and there were very *********** staff not sure what they were doing and system issues with long wait times. I mentioned that i want to have services re instated and need to pay. So i responded i will go in the branch this so i can discusd the account. Got to the store in Umhlanga requested to make payment for 3 DSTV accounts but this specific one of which im discussing. There were no mention or contact made with me from 2015 to discuss payment so 02 Dec 2017 i paid for services to cover me the Dec period and guess what i recieved an sms on the 3rd or 4th telling me that my services are suspended upon contacting the DSTV call center absolutely no joy i went onto the ussd code to check the status of acc and it kept telling me i have services until 3rd Jan 2018 but the call center couldnt pick this up with great frustration. I visited the Umhlanga Multi Choice Branch and after speaking to a consultant i requested senior management and the "Branch Manager was called in Sibongile Msomi. She was rude and absolutely *********** around the discussion we were hosting about their pathetic services and *********** staff all she kept telling me was that i am to blame because i had outstanding payment from 2015. She was of no assistance of whuch begun getting frustration of whuch i had to start raisung my tone and pitch. Eventually she left me standing and waiting whilst she took the consultant to her office. They left me for +- 10minutes not knowing if they going to assist or not so i went to the door and starred into the office until the guard asked me to move away so i asked to call the branch manager. She called in the person i dealt with in Dec 2017 and sent the young lady to me. This individual says my branch manager says that you want an explaination and i responded no i escalated the issue and will only consult with the manager of which i wasted long over 30 min and had to leave and was told that there is no contact no. Of which can be given to me they will call me. I mentioned that i will escalate this issue as an high level complaint and public and to the media and want to be contacted within 24/48 hours of which i received a call around 10 min after i drove away. This telling me im liable for disconnection fee and fees for the days my services was connected and few other fees and the best Multi Chouce can do is that she the branch manager can only compensate me by waiver the reconnection fee. Pathetic useless *********** are too kind words for Multi Choice and this Umhlanga Branch Manager
