Poor service from Multichoice
After my explora decoder went faulty I decided to purchase a new "Ultra decoder" which is under the "price lock" fees for 2 years. after the "free" installation was done I was advised by the installer there was an additional fee to pay for the "multiplex" unit to enable the extraview to work. Then the fun started... multichoice decided instead of deleting my old explora they put that decoder on a premium account as well, so in effect I had two premium accounts for one household, then billing me for R2125 When phoning the customer help line the operator does not listen to your story but then talks over you to tell you what they think is the problem. to cut a long story short after spending 97 minuets talking to multiple operators and the accounts section they eventually got the ultra on the system as a "price lock" decoder but then they still tell me I owe R97 for the one day I had 2 premium accounts under my name -- so their mistake but the client must pay. but the story does not end there after 3 days my extra view is still not linked to my ultra decoder.. so the phone calls to the help line continue for the 3rd day now. I have given 1 star because the system will not let one publish a complaint below 1 star. My advise is stay far away from multichoice as they are the worst service provider and do not know what they are doing
