Poor service DSTV technicians and DSTV website
Some time ago I called an installer fro Dstv to install my dish who came very late in the dark one night. He connected it and I had just purchased my flat and told me there already was a dish attached. I discovered he had in fact attached it to a neighbours dish on the first floor. I logged a complaint to Dstv and they found the installer who came and he told me that I had to pay R400 for the call out in spite of it being his negligence. He kept promising to come and it took a couple of days for him to arrive with never pitching for a scheduled appointment. ON 8th June I suddenly had no signal and he sent a colleague to come as he said that he was too busy. He quoted me to pay R350.00 and said a guy called Matthew would come in. I went to the Atm with Matthew and paid him. The dish again within a week kept going off with the same signal code comming up. On the 15th June I called Matthew and he said he would be there at 9.00am.He did not pitch. Throughout the day he kept changing the time and did not pitch. This went on for 3 days . He promised to come in sending me voice and whatsap messages. I complained on the dstv web page and a lady called Zanele called me on Saturday at 18h26pm and promised to call me back and I haven't heard from her again. I have logged new calls on the website and still have heard nothing. I have paid twice for a service and still have no dstv service and feel the technicians take advantage of clients because dstv themselves do not hold anyone accountable. This is such poor service and I would like my service fixed and reconnected. Old cable was patched together which is why the dish is not working. Please can someone assist
