Poor service, broken promises

I paid my DSTV in advance in 2016 up until April 2017. I paid it into their account directly. In Jan 2017, I called them to CANCEL my DSTV and refund me the amount that was left. In April I get information that I have to pay my next instalment. As it turns out, they didnt cancel my DSTV and Jan at all and ran it until the money was finished.

After NUMEROUS (and I mean numerous calls, much frustration, lies and promises) calls they find out that I did in fact cancel the subscription. They will pay me asap. Im still waiting..............

I have spent HOURS on the phone with them getting "sorting the matter out" Im still waiting..............

they promised to get a manager to call me, Im still waiting.............

Today I get an SMS - they cannot process payment I need to send information lets see how long I will have to be waiting..............

USELESS to say the least and you WILL NOT get to management EVER. They avoid you like the plague. So Good luck to anyone who wants to cancel their DSTV and expect a refund.

So they call - NOT a manager, and the lady asks me to explain the problem.

Surely, when dealing with an irate customer you should have ALL your ducks in a row?

OR should I ask DSTV to pay ME for MY services rendered to assist THEM to do their job? I think I have spent more on my telephone calls to DSTV than my refund now.

Dear Lebogang and DSTV team

Your intentions may be good, but the implementation thereof is proof in itself that there actually has to be action geared toward raising the customer satisfaction index. In this case it has driven it into the minus figures.

Thank you for your offer to assist in future. Unfortunately, past behaviour dictates future behaviour - so based on my absolutely frustrating experience with DSTV, I would like to respectfully decline your offer - to save my sanity.
