POOR SERVICE

We are owners of a Guest house and are currently in the process of purchasing another guest house.

Both are currently on the guest house packages and we are trying to do a change of ownership on the decoders which are inculded in the sale.

The current owner phoned to find out what needs to be done to enable the trasfer. She was advised that we as the new owners need to send a letter to request the transfer.

Our request was sent on 19/10 to request the transfer. A case number was genereated and then no furhter communication from Multichoice was received in this regard.

When phoning in again I was advised that an email was sent requesting that the current owner must write a letter to authorise the transfer. This email was never received and I requested that it be resent. To date still not received but none the less I sent the requested documents on 22/10. No communication was received thereafter. On 24/10 after another phone call I was advised to resend the documents again as they are off-line. Again I sent the email. I then made another call and was advised that all will be done by close of bussiness yesterday. In the afternoon I receive an email to advise that the case has been resolved.

This morning still no activation. Again a phone call an then advised that the case number can not be found on the system and I should call back. I call back and again kept online for about 20 minutes and finally they advise that the decoders are now activated. Only 1 is activated. Again a phone call and plus minus 20 minutes on the phone I am advised that the decoders will be activated y 12h00. Come 12h00 still no activation and another phone call of about 15 minutes where now only I am advised that I need to confirm in writing the number of Television pionts an that they now require a copy of the deed of sale.

I think this is absolutly poor service that i has taken about 6 - 7 phone calls before this information is given through One would assume the persons assisting are trained and should certainly know what documentation is required and advise of this in an email or over the phone as to ensure that the prosess is completed swiftly.
