Poor service

I am utterly disappointed in the lack of service and promises made by DSTV and there representatives at the call center.

I called into the call center back at the beginning of June requesting a statement on my account as I was in credit and just wanted to find out how many months were left before I was to make another payment. The consultant promised me that I would receive my statement within 48hrs. (I still have not received this)

In the beginning of July DSTV Debited my account by nearly double my monthly premium. I called into the call center to find out what was going on. After being on the call for over an hour they finally apologized for debiting my account incorrectly. I advised the woman to please send me statements so I can also review everything( Surprise surprise I never received this). They confirmed before the debit I was still in credit of R100. I advised the lady that I would be returning the debit as it was taken in error. She said they would then debit me at the end of the month for any difference.

On the 8th of July i got home and my DSTV had been disconnected. I called in again to find out what was going on. I finally spoke to a manager and he also apologized for the problems I had received. He reconnected everything and all was good. Then on Tuesday the 16th of July I was disconnected again I called in and spent over 2hrs on the phone and being placed on hold for more than 50% of the time. After speaking to a manager send proof of this and that through to them nothing got resolved. I advised the lady that I was really unhappy with the service received and DSTV can come and collect there Dish as well as there Decoder. She apologized and promised that someone would call me on the 17th to clear everything up.

Well we are now on the 18th of July and no one has yet to be in contact.

Really disappointed if I look at what I spend on Dstv every month I could get uncapped WIFI and still sign up to a few online TV channels and would still save money.

Lets see if someone will contact me now. Doubt it but lets see.
