On 16 March 24 I experienced problems with my signal and after numerous calls and using the self-service app I could not clear the error code. The code don't even appear on their list of codes. Eventually I got hold of an agent on the phone. She advices me to take the decoder to a walk in centre. I requested which one is the closest to Centurion. She confirmed there is one next to Centurion mall in Gordon wood road but was unable to provide me with the address or tel no. I search on Google but could not find any. I phoned again and another agent gave me a number that was the number of Centurion mall centre itself. The security staff answered to the number and informed me that there is not a Multichoice walk in centre. I then went to the walk in centre at the Waterglen shopping centre in Waterkloof. After a long wait the decoder was replaced. However back at home the decoder was not working. I then again call an agent but she was unable to resolve the issue and cut down on our conversation. Last option was to get an accredited service provider to help me. After an expensive fee of R3029. 00 he confirmed that the decoder is not working and they issue reconditioned decoders to customers. I that what one are paying insurance for? Multichoice is one big unprofessional service provider.
