Poor DSTv customer service
My wife has passed away on 21 January 2024 I want to transfer her DSTV account to my name in order to keep the account I contacted DSTV and asked them to provide me with info on what is required to do so They advised that I complete a change of ownership and provide a death certificate and copy of her I’d document which I did. Now that I want to transfer the account they insist that I provide them with a letter of authorisation or a excecutor letter. My wife does not have a registered estate as she has no assets that requires an estate. They transfer me to 3 different persons an every time I explain my situation and everytime the they sing the same tune. I tried to explain that to DSTV but it seems as if I am talking to a brick wall as the are not prepared to listen and accommodate me. I will no longer pursue to be a DSTV customer and they will now lose another customer.
