Poor customer service

I have been struggling with my DSTV and Showmax account for months now, and every time I call the contact center, I am being told that the issue is being escalated to technical team and that "I should get a response from them in a couple of days", but I never get this response. When I follow up with the customer center, there is no feedback on the old request and a new ticket number gets generated for the same issue. This is really getting frustrating, is the technical team on another planet maybe?! why are they not attending to these requests.
