Poor business practices

I am trying to get to the bottom of this strange statement. On the one hand when I called in in 2018 I was told that I don’t owe anything. Imagine my horror when on the other a debt collector contacts me and threatens legal action. I shrug it off as a **** because I have already spoken to you especially since you had access to my account and you took money as and when you pleased (sometimes erroneously). My relationship with you was terminated in 2018 when I was unemployed.

The harassment continues from this company. There is no way my service provider would hand me over to such a seedy group to threaten me non stop over something that they could have reached out to me about even though we parted ways amicably.

A few moments ago I reach out to you via the chat function out of curiosity to get a statement in order to understand what on earth I am misunderstanding. The consultant uses the wrong email address which I find odd since you guys would send me emails to the correct email address. I also provided my email address to the DSTV bot.

No matter, the consultant “updates” my email address and sends me the attached statement. How on earth did I get a statement from 2020 when I haven’t been your client since 2018? The idea was always to come back and reconnect once my finances settled but your business practices are leaving me alarmed to say the least.
