Phasing out of SD PVR's

This is not really a complaint, more a remark, but definitely no compliment.

We are bombarded with adverti*****ts about Multichoice that want us to swop the SD PVR's for an Explora, for R1,499.

It is an insult really, this deal, and again pointing to how greedy Multichoice is, that they not simply do a straight swop, SD PVR for an Explora. Let me put it mildly, I will still not do the swop even if it is a straight swop, this is how good the SD PVR is. This PVR is by far the best PVR that ever came out. So, Multichoice want us to spend R1,499 to basically give our PVR away. Can you please explain to me in what world this is a good deal.

Also, to say it is R500 off, is laughable, I could get Explora's for as little as R1,599 in the past, so, it is not R500 off.

Clearly this deal is for people who can't think, and who like to be taken for a ride.

As for me, I will keep my SD PVR until the day it breaks, or like you say, you make it unbearable for us to use with all your upgrades.

I will consider trading mine in if you give me a new Explora and R1,499 :-)

But I know Multichoice, it is very hard to give loyal customers anything for free, we don't want you to lose a rand.
