Payment not reflecting after using PayU
I am beyond frustrated with multichoice. I made a payment for my dstv account using their online PayU system on Jan 12th and to this day payment still doesn't reflect. Dstv refuses to trace payment on their own system and keeps requesting proof of payment from my bank. I have provided them with my bank statement which reflects the payment and they will not accept it. Standard bank cannot provide proof of payment for a transaction done using a third party system. Why would multichoice endorse PayU if they don't have protocols in place on how to track payments. I don't know what more I can do as am getting no where with Multichoice.

The PayU payment is still pending allocation from the finance team. Once traced, it will be credited back into your DStv account and refund will be processed.
The reconnection fee charged has been reversed.

I apologise for the delayed response.
As per the feedback received from the finance team.
The PayU payment dated 12 January 2018 (R459.20) reflects in Ms MF Moleleki's DStv account.
When the payment was received, there was an overdue balance owed which was debited. Furthermore, service was reconnected and the reconnection fee with the pro rata balance was charged to keep the service active from 12 January 2018 to 01 February 2018.
In summary, your payment was allocated into the above customer number.
Kind regards
