Paying a high price for mistakes made by "nobody"

3 Times in 2015-my account mysteriously went from a monthly debit order to cash payment. Without warning services were cut off. We went to the customer care walk in centre, when queried a lady named Palesa /Pheliwe told me that she does not know why this happened. When asking which department does this she did not know and told us it is an automated process. I paid all the outstanding fees then changed my payment details from cash to Debit order again. Guess who then had to pay the re connection fees? Me.

It happened a second and third time, then we were told the switch between debit order and cash payments just happen and who paid the re connection fees? Me again. Paying for a switch of something I did not request or authorize. We walked out without getting joy and our details were taken down so someone from Johannesburg can call us to explain the mystery to us. Up to date no call was received.

Today I got a text message to inform me that my account seems to be overdue by more than one month…and that I am due to pay R5227.15 TO AVAOID MY PAYMENT PROFILE BEING UPDATED WITH CREDIT BUREAUS. Why, what happened? No e mail, no prior text message, no disconnection on my DSTV and bam this message. I freaked out and called the call centre again. My details were taken down and I was informed someone will contact me again. I was informed that my debit order date is set for the 25th of each month and when I asked why the debit order did not go through I was told that they don’t know. Who knows why? Is there anyone that can explain this to me and is there anyone that can explain why I need to pay for re connection fees each time someone see fit to change my payment type? Is there anyone that can explain to me why my DSTV was not disconnected or why no SMS or mail was send to me?
