Pathetic Service - R899 Explora Package
I smsed Price Lock in order to apply for the R899 Explora package last week Wednesday and was called back the same day to confirm the sale and all my details and credit history etc. All went very well and I was advised that R149 will be debited from my account on Tuesday the 22/03/2016 to get the ball rolling. The debit did NOT go off and upon calling DSTV yesterday, I was advised that there was an error on their side with the amount set for CASH and not DEBIT. The agent told me that this was rectified and the debit WILL go off later the same day and I will also get a call back. Of course, none of this transpired.

I called in again this morning to find out what is going on and after spending 20 minutes on the phone with DSTV, I was told someone will call me back later today. I refused and said that they must process the debit now or cancel my order. I was told to wait 30 minutes, to which I waited an hour and still nothing. I've now cancelled the order.

If a business is this useless at taking your money, how useless will they be when you actually need their service and support?

I hope this puts things into perspective for other consumers looking at this package.
