Pathetic service and feedback on problem solving

DSTV provides the worst customer service and has almost a MONOPOLY attitute, thinking it is the only company that provides entertainment

I was on DSTV Premium with all channels working fine

When I changed to DSTV family, All channels was working fine. During the month of October, DSTV chnaged channels 145, 162 &163 to HD channels. Since this change I cannot view these channels even though I am paying for the service.

I have spent almost 160 mins in 3 seperate call trying to resolve this.

I have ASKED a SUPERVISOR ( if there is ever one) to call me back, but with no joy !!!

I have taken the DSTV decorder to the customer service site for a force upgrade and still it does not work

I have even sent a mail (self Service) and still no feedback. 2 week ahve past and still PROBLEM is not resolved and NO ONE has EVER contacted me.

DSTV expects their FEES to be paid but WHEN a paying customer wants the services, DSTV PROVIDES NONE!!!

HOW Pathetic.

WELCOME NETFLEX!!!

As per our technicians please try the following steps if you still cannot access those channels, it is most likely that the decoder software is not up to date :
o Go to “Menu > Advanced Options > DSD Upgrade”
o Press the RED button to upgrade the decoder software
o After the upgrade completes, allow the decoder to perform a Rescan (Press OK on the Rescan pop up when the decoder boots up)
If the software upgrade did not resolve the problem, it’s possible the installation is not capable of receiving high band channels
If the installation is not capable of receiving high band channels try the following :
Go to “Menu > Advanced Options > Network Setup”
Set “LNB Hi Frequency” to 10600
Set “LNB Switch Frequency” to 11900
Press the YELLOW button to Scan the decoder
If the problem persists you would need to get an installer to upgrade your installation to receive high band frequencies.
