I have been a DSTV Multichoice customer for over 12 years now. Recently I app**** for a DSTV Compact Price Lock facility. It has been 2 weeks after making such application. I have tried to find out the status of that application but no one seems to be giving me the information. The last time I called the price lock department I was told that they will come back to me until now. I have tried to make a follow up through their call center but on several occasions the consultant will tell me that I have not done any application as from the system so I am told to hold for 20min with no reply. In some cases I am told that details will be escalated- I mean how many times?

I think this is in total violations of some sections of the CPA Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. If you can not offer the product do not advertise. If I show interest in the product please provide with me the feedback I deserve.

I have been contemplating stopping the subscriptions totally and switch to Netflix and this could be the right time. I really do not see any problem in giving feedback to a customer as loyal as myself.

This is pathetic.

Thank you for acknowledging this. I hope you are not going to be leaning on this so called feedback. Please come back to me as promised. I have seen people complaining here again that you don't usually come back to customers. I think you need to know that what you are doing is against the laws of the land.

This matter, upto today has not been resolved. I have seen a lot of your replies here that you promise to sort the issue but never do that.

MULTICHOICE, DO YOU WANT TO SELL ME THE PRODCUT OR NOT? IF NOT STOP ADVERTISING IT. YOU ARE VIOLATING THE CP ACT.
