Pathetic service.

I called in about 4 or 5 weeks ago to change my banking details after changing banks and was assured by a Multichoice consultant that my new banking details were updated on their system. To my surprise, last night a debit order goes off on my old bank account which I explicitly expressed that I wont be using anymore. Now I am stuck with R100 worth of bank charges which the bank has charged me because the debit order bounced. I then called their customer care department this morning and spoke to a girl by the name of Andile who was just useless and told me that it was my responsibility to have instructed my old bank not to allow Multichoice to debit. I don't understand why my old bank has to be the one to cancel the debit order if I have already informed Multichoice that I have changed my banking details, well in advance. This is pathetic service which I am not pleased with and I will sure not pay for that bank charge for a mistake that is not mine. I pay R900 each month for this service?
