Pathetic customer experience

On Friday I got home to find my decoder off. I then call multichoice for assistance as I have insurance on the decoder, I was referred to visit one of the offices that are closer so they can check it and then replace it if necessary. I then called Multichoice in Wonderpark, I spoke to the store manager who said to me they had stock and they can assist me. Only to get to their branch to be informed that there is no stock and they don’t know when they will be getting stock since it was a weekend. I was informed that all I can do is keep calling them to find out if there is any stock available. I then called the call centre, requested numbers for outlets closer to my house so I can take my decoder. I called over 5 multichoice outlets in Pretoria to no stock. Visited the branch in Menlyn only to be informed that they can’t do anything for me I need to go to Lynwood for assistance. I was so irritated that I ended up buying a new decoder from my pocket where else there is insurance on my account. What is the point of having insurance on my account when I can’t be assisted when my decoder is not working? what an awful experience I had. The one person I spoke at the call centre when linking the new decoder was very helpful , his name is Life. I really appreciate the service he offered. As for the walk in centres as well as multichoice partners, how do u operate when you don’t have decoders?? pathetic
