Overcharged by DSTV
I have a compact package with DSTV, and was in an agreement with them for 24 months to debit R369 from my account from September 2019. In September they debited R369.63, in October they debited R371.67, in November they debited R473.00 and in December they debited R1115.06. These amounts are inconsistent and not according to the agreement I had with them, since Tuesday 31 December I have been calling them to refund me my money but I have not received any feedback from them. I have requested them to cancel my debit order since they are not playing their part of the agreement, I will go to Shoprite on a monthly basis to pay my account because a debit order method which I thought will be easier for me has been a terrible experience. Dstv told me that the decoder that I cancelled 5 years ago has been activated by their system and there are penalties and reconnection fees which were added to my account, I have never activated that old decoder. I told them that I need my money by today as I need to buy my son a stationery but to date I don't have my money or any communication from them. They owe me R853.36.

03 Jan 2020, 17:09Please note that I need my money urgently, its January. You need to do business with ethics and truthful, charge people what they have agreed on, not overcharge them and drag your feet when you have to refund them.
