Overcharged and held ransom new systems a mess
Since the upgrade in June a client is not able to do anything anymore on the DSTV website. I have a holiday and a primary decoder and used to switch the holiday decoder on and off as needed before. I also knew exactly what my outstanding balance was and could pay via the site. In July after the upgrade and I was on holiday for 3 wks (overseas) both my decoders were switched off for 3 weeks (with the exception of a few days I needed to turn the holiday decoder on for) I logged in and was informed I had a bill of R1274 (this was not correct as I should have been credited for my non use in July and small part of June whilst on holiday) but in order to keep the service running I had to pay - This payment is in advance for August. on 7 August I had to turn the holiday decoder on again only to be told I owe an additional R652.40 so a total of R1926.4 I only have 2 decoders! The call centre are ok to sort out and error but when it comes to billing they have no clue, much less their supervisors who would have phoned me back with a recon numerous times but never have!!! Please ensure some who CAN contacts me to rectify, OH did I mention according to the site I still owe R1478, RIDICULOUS
