Outdated Change of Ownership Form

Today I was totally appalled by the non-nonsensical approach of DSTV representative who want to me to complete an "outdated" Change of Ownership document to change the owner on a decoder I purchased. 1. This document have 2 pages, the 2nd page is clearly aimed at NEW DSTV customers, which I am not, so I didnt fill it in. 2. My DSTV waited my entire day with email communication to a generic email addressed manned by a Agent who clearly do not realise that this form is outdated. 3. They refused to process the ownership change, if I do not tick the box that say, I quote from the form: "...If you are a new DSTV customer mark accordingly if you agree to the DSTV T&C'S that can be viewed at www.dstv.com..." -- SO CLEARLY I DIDNT MARK "Yes" or "No", because the word "if" clearly give one a choice....In this instance I am a DSTV Customer on the most expensive package for years and this is the type of ridiculous service you must be subjected to! Calling the Call Centre was not helpful, they want to force you to go into a DSTV walkin centre...Mind you during the hard COVID19 time, DSTV prefer that option for their Customers....I lost my dad last week to Covid and my mom was hospitalised, SO NO, i avoid outside contact at all cost!!

So get your Document Control department to update you Change of Ownership Form to make provision for existing Customers and you wanting to force them to tick for NEW T&C'S!!!!

Lastly, you form also DO NOT cater for your new decoders that do not come with a physical plastic Smart Card! How must WE(customers) smell that the sticker behind a model 5S contain a IUC number and that it should be recorded on the form!

I need a representative senior to call me or I will publicize this unprofessional!
