I was contacted this morning by On Air TV who misrepresented themselves and led me to believe they were part of DSTV.<br> <br> On this basis I concluded the R149 per month deal for two years for the new DSTV Explorer.<br> <br> They knew my name, ID number, that I was currently a pemium subscriber and my DSTV account number. The only place they could have got these details was from Multichoice directly.<br> <br> 1.) My details are supposed to be protected under the consumer protection act<br> 2.) My details are supposed to be protected under the protection of personal information act<br> 3.) This is a breach of my confidentiality with your company<br> 4.) The fact that there are many other complaints on Hello Peter about them doing the exact same thing to other Subscribers for over a year. However, you continue to use them as a service provider and continually deny passing confidential information over to them.<br> <br> So Multichoice, I have been a loyal subscriber for 15 years and my account has never been in arrears. Please advise how you intend fixing this mess and ensuring that On Air Tv do not try and debit my account for this decoder, do not attempt to deliver it to me and ensure that the order is null and void.<br>
