Old faulty MNet decoder could not be swapped
On 19th Jan 2016 I visited Multichoice Randburg to swap my old analogue decoder. At customer it was confirmed that the decoder was faulty and needs to be swapped. They spent more than 2hours 30 min to discover that they didn't have a working decoder to swap the faulty decoder. I was given a decoder flashing E1. I was given a faulty decoder to replace a faulty decoder. I was asked to install the decoder at home and to phone Multichoice to enable it from home. I did as they suggested phoned, waited for the decoder to be enabled, but no joy. Next day I was off to Randburg, again. After waiting again for my faulty decoder to be swapped , I was informed that the past 3 days, they had an IT problem, and this is the reason why the analogue decoders cannot be enabled. The solution will be to leave the decoder at customer care and as soon as the system is up and running, they will send someone to install it (ref S875269-i41). It is now 7 days' later. Still no sign of an installed or decoder. The impression I have is that Multichoice want to force us to go digital. I cannot afford the 900-00 per month for DSTV. When will Multichoice swap my faulty decoder and come install it as promised?
