Old content on showmax, no wireless for explora

So the exlplora was first launched with the tag line "th e best just got better". Was one of the best to fall for it and bug it. I've now subscribed to showmax. What a let down! The explora only connects to cable connection, and my mifi router isn't good enough. And then showmax has old content. For example I am currently waiting for the filming and airing of season 8 of The Fixer, so i can download it from 02tvseries,while showmax has up to season 5!!! Njhani?
