non accessibility of SS1 unless you pay premium prices

THIS IS AN OPEN LETTER TO DSTV AND SARU WHY in this day and age of wanting transformation in sport is there NO coverage of any rugby, local or international, unless you pay premium prices to Multichoice. This takes rugby away from the "average" middle and lower class person, who cannot afford those premiums. In so doing you have created an elitist exclusive viewing audience. Yet DSTV can broadcast overseas soccer on any number of accessible channels?? Perhaps the injustice of this needs to be addressed by SARU - given that many people do not even live in close proximity to a rugby stadium. How can we encourage young people to play and love a sport that they are never exposed to?? Maybe the reason we only see children in the parks and on the streets kicking soccer *****, rugby is an unknown......or create an affordable package dedicated to sport and leave off the 150 channels that, if a survey were done, most people never watch??
