No the explorer is not a great product

So I have a DSTV subscription for the children. TV gets watched 10 hours a week. On the compact bouquet and that is already too much for the amount of time that the TV is on. Bought an Explorer for the Showmax a while ago and decided recently to try it out with a 6 month subscription. Tried to use the subscription on my decoder however I need to pay an extra R85 for it to work as thats your unlocking fee for features on the decoder. In total R184 in order to watch Showmax for a customer like me. Now I am not going to watch Showmax on my PC, phone or tablet. Your explorer decoder is actually a barrier to the Showmax service. What I would do is buy an android box, however then I will have access to Netflix and who knows what other streaming services available that are in competition to your Showmax service.
