No service, bad service. But you must still pay
On the 18 June 2015 morning, I tried watch TV before I go to work but didnt have signal, I did nothing because i was rushing to work and didnt sleep at home that night. I first call DSTV call center on 20 June 2015 reporting the issue. The agent who assisted me confirmed that I was not getting any signal to my decoder and must bring in decoder for testing or check my installation. I only got a chance to bring in the decoder for testing on 23 June 2015 and it was testing fine and the next step was to check the installation. When i got home from the service center, some how the decoder started working again. But now i had more than 5 days without service (no signal). Why pay for service that you could not access? i called call center today asking why i am not credited with with amount equal the days i wasnt getting the signal, i was told i should have ask for my services to be de-activated, i argued that and was advised that this matter is being escalated and will be contacted shortly. I never got a call back. I called back to the call center and now the agent tells me that they can only disconnect once a mouth the day before your payment day. DSTV only cares for your money.
