NO SERVICE

Our Mnet sound was off from Monday, 02/10/2017 until Friday, 06/10/2017. I complained (on Friday, 06/10/2017), and the sound went on again on Saturday & Sunday. What is interesting is that usually when I complain (I have sound issues often on Mnet), the standard explanation is the decoder is faulty. The lady that I spoke to said to me that they (Mnet) want to make away with the analog signal (I am aware of this) and that we will have sound and picture issues (apparently moving a satellite). I emailed them and someone phoned me - back to blaming the decoder... Like mentioned above, after complaining the sound is on again on the Saturday & Sunday.

On Monday, 09/10/2017 the sound is off again and is still off (so out of 10 days, 2 days of Mnet). When you phone Mnet, they say it MUST be the decoder...get it tested! Which is strange, as the extra sports channel have sound so I don't believe that explanation. Someone else also complained on Facebook, and they told her to take the decoder in to be tested. When she went to Multichoice in Goodwood, they said that they don't test these old decoders and that she must switch over to DSTV for a fee of R3??. So why do they tell us to take the decoders in to be tested if they have no intention of testing the machine? I joined Mnet years ago because they bought over the rights for Super Sport so that we can watch the rugby. I still pay, and they still take my money...but they do not want to deliver the service that I pay for. If they want to end the analog signal, do it! But in the meantime I expect the service that I pay for. At the moment they are *****ing my money, and I am sure that is not legal.
