No notifications or communication

We've made payment 2 or 3 times during October but still our dstv gets disconnected due to outstanding payments that we are not even aware of. Customer service is pathetic as one person gives an amount 1 week, amount given was paid & the next week we are disconnected cause suddenly there's another amount outstanding. How many times a month does a person have to pay your account to stay connected? Unacceptable, no notifications & poor communication! Self service just as pathetic!!

Dear Yolene

Apologies for the frustration this has caused.

Upon checking your account we can verify that you've received assistance with your query. Further please note that you currently have an outstanding amount of R 356.65 due to an unpaid debit order of R357.13 dated 02-10-2017.

Please pay as soon as you can to avoid disconnection and being charged R50 reconnection fee.

Kind Regards

Elna [DStv: Hello Peter Complaints]

Best regards,

Hi Elna, Your email refers to the beginning of October, R358 was paid 4 October via EFT and an additonal R415 was paid on the 19th of October when my husband was told that this was the only outstanding amount. After connecting the 4U decoder, the explora was still off & after phoning again, he was told that another R306 needs to be paid. This is totally unacceptable, why wasn't he given in the 1st place the exact amount & after making a payment arrangement for the 25th of October, our service was disconnected once again. My question is, why did we have to make so many payments but still get disconnected because of your imcompentency.
