Hi Helen,

It is with regret that we learn of the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced. Please accept our sincere apologies in this regard.

MultiChoice and eMedia have signed a new agreement to continue to broadcast eTV (194), eNCA (403) and the daily Afrikaans News bulletin on kykNet (144) on DStv. This agreement is effective from 1 April 2022.

The channels that were part of the previous agreement are eTV, eNCA, eMovies, eMovies Extra, eExtra and eToonz. This agreement will expire at the end of March 2022. eMovies, eMovies Extra, eExtra and eToonz are not part of the new agreement and these channels will no longer be available on DStv from 1 April.

We constantly review our channel offering on DStv. Although these four eMedia channels will no longer be available on DStv, customers still have access to a wide range of entertainment which includes 200 channels of movies, dramas, sport, kids, news, reality and so much more.

Customers who previously watched eMovies can enjoy a variety of kid and family-friendly movies on M-Net Movies 3 and 4. DStv customers can look forward to the launch of Dreamworks, a kids channel on DStv channel 304 as well as an exciting new movie channel later this year.

Knd Regards,
DStv: Hello Peter Team

Best regards,
