No customer support and payments confusion.
I have been struggling with unallocated payment since 28 August. During that time I had called the call centre and sent emails, spoke to DSTV care centre but it seems no one is able to help me. The call centre agents told me different stories about my accounts and I feel like it should just cancel it. Before making the payments I have been receiving smses saying I owe R292.36 on Monday 28 August I paid R293 by following a link with payment options provided at the end of one of the SMSes sent to me by Multichoice. This money has not been allocated to my account since despite being told it is reflecting. Depending on who answers the phone, I owe multichoice different charges for different reasons. I spoke to consultants who told me that this is the wrong amount and that the sms they sent me had incorrect amount. I asked that they allocated the R293 and tell me the short fall. The consultant on Friday 1st September told me the shortfall is R58. I waited for the R293 to be allocated before I could settle the shortfall. It was not. I called again 3 days later and another consultant told me that actually I over R100 an amount that she failed to adequately explain to me. She then said its from July because back then apparently another consultant had given me a wrong amount. I told her that I spoke to over 10 consultants in a week and no one told me anything about that. At no time during that month or until then was I told that I paid incorrect money for July. She said the Multichoice system is not reliable, and that some consultants are also not reliable. I mean what the HELL? Who do I trust at multichoice? Why send customers payments options that are not easily identifiable by your system? Why send wrong amounts? What about the allocation of the money I already paid? And secondly whats with the mysterious charges from last month? Please explain.
